The Social Secretary's arrange barbecues, treasure hunts, meals at
local restaurants and even Ten pin bowling and skittles! However
they are always looking for new ideas. So put one forward.
The club uses the Fleming Park Bar facilities after the evening run
to discuss possible events and sound out club opinion.
An annual Trip abroad is usually arranged. Countries visited
recently are France, Spain, Cyprus, Netherlands, Jersey, Alderney
and Malta.

Pub Run |
Runs are very socialable. We
meet at a pub, all abilities are welcome. We go for a run
for about 4-5 miles mostly off road, and then return back to
the pub for a drink and a chat with friends. We look forward
to seeing some of you then.

SOCIAL RUN ALONG THE
WAYFARERS |
(THE WAYFARERS CHALLENGE) The
Wayfarers is a long distance trail that runs from Emsworth
to Old Basing. I am looking to organise a social day out for
the club to run this trail. I will split the trail in to
approx 3-6mile sections to meet the 86mile route. You can
run as many of the sections as you want, but we must have
one runner on a section at any one time, I am hoping to get
together about 10-16 people to run along the trail,
depending on weather. There may be some cost involved to
cover mini bus hire. I am also looking for people who would
be prepared to drive a mini bus, about three people would be

All
walks start at 9:00am and are approx 8 to 9 miles easy pace
with coffee break half way round, finishing by 1:00pm.
